Up to three days of riding fun and camping out at the yard with friends!
Agenda:
Friday afternoon - arrive from lunchtime to go out on an afternoon hack to start the weekend, then set up camp and take part in other afternoon activities
Friday evening - set up camp for 'After Work' campers followed by a BBQ and campfire campout
Saturday - day trip to Stanhope Show! We'll bus down and have access to the show, access to members only areas as well as your very own specialist showing guides in Paige and Kelly (if that sort of thing interests you!) Simply enjoy the day your way and then catch the bus back to Westacres
Saturday evening - pizza night and more campfire fun!
Sunday - pack up camp then prepare for and and compete in our Mini ODE (dressage, showjumping and XC), before washing off and finishing up with your horse and heading home
Various other activities are planned around these core activities, all activities may be subject to change depending on weather, availability etc.
What your camp can include:
- up to three days and two nights of fun
- afternoon hack on Friday
- Stanhope Show day out on Saturday, including bus, membership and entry
- mini ODE entry on Sunday
- breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings
- BBQ on Friday and pizza night on Saturday
- unlimited water/squash throughout camp
What you will need to bring:
- sleeping set up (tent, sleeping bag etc. - many of our campers club together and share, so let us know if you need some guidance)
- riding equipment and clothing
- clothes for non riding activities
- packed lunches for each day (food will be available to purchase at Stanhope Show)
- British weather preparation! (sunscreen, waterproofs etc.)
- washbag and swimwear if intending to shower (hosepipe showers)
